How do the blue light blocking glasses work since they aren’t tinted?

They do have a tint to them, it is just relatively mild compared to some other versions. If you hold the lens next to a clear lens or a window you can see it, but just looking at the wearer it is not super noticeable. If you want the most possible protection, it will be those very dark, syrup colored or bright yellow lenses. We found kids don't want to wear those when we researched this product, so they don't do as much good - would rather the child like wearing them and get good protection than not wear the ones that provide great protection.
